Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 123,440 tonnes of cargo including 104,264 tonnes import and 19,176 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Wednesday. The cargo comprised of 44,460 tonnes dry and 78,980 tonnes liquid cargo. Five ships namely Dong He, Apl Orchid, Express, Welmington and Iran Sattari sailed out to sea during the report period.
Seven vessels viz Sinar Bontang, Apl Orchid, Asian Trader, Oranje, Express, Welmington and Irnon Butter Fly are currently at the berths.
Two ships namely Oranje and Apl Orchid expected to sail on Wednesday, while three ships namely Express, Welmington and Iran Sattari are expected to sail on Thursday.
Three ships namely Iran Sattari, Hyundai Stride and YM Moon due to arrive on Wednesday, while five vessels viz Metaxata, Corinthiakos, Kota Waris, Kota Mesra and BBC Greece are due to arrive on Thursday.

The cargo comprised of 2,905 tonnes chemicals; 6,759 tonnes wheat and 21,981 tonnes containerised cargo.
Four vessels viz Maersk Arizona, Saudi Diriya, Dimirtis and Sinar Sabang sailed out to sea during last 24 hours.
A total of two vessels viz Great Luck and P&O Nedlloyd Colombo are currently at the outer anchorage.
Two ships namely P&O Nedlloyd Colombo and Oranje due to take berths on Wednesday.
MV Silver One due to arrive on Wednesday, while another ship Chemstar Eagle is due to arrive on Thursday.
