ISE: bears stage comeback

Bears returned in the driving seat on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where selling-pressure in trend-setters moved the entire ready-board in downward direction amid decrease in index. ISE network index showed a decrease of 8.18 points as the composite index moved from 11,895.80 to 11,887.62 points, while the overall turnover amounted to 1,712,300 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,927,900 shares.
Total 149 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (75) landed in minus zone, 72 closed in positive territory while two companies remained pegged to their overnight levels.
The volume of OGDCL was 770,800 shares as compared to previous turnover of 1,030,300 shares. The turnover of Fauji Fertiliser was 541,500 shares. The volume of Hubco was 111,500 shares.
