Bangladeshi taka dips on dollar demand for imports

The Bangladeshi taka dipped further on Thursday amid robust demand for US dollars for import payments ahead of local Friday weekend, dealers said. The taka was quoted at 59.61/60.70 per dollar, against 59.61/60.58 on Wednesday. Call rates were unchanged between 2.0 percent and 7.0 percent.
