Pakistan Hockey Federation on Thursday signed co-sponsorship deal with 7up for the Champions Trophy hockey tournament commencing here from December 4 at National Hockey Stadium. The deal was signed between Secretary, PHF Brigadier (Retd) Masarratulllah Khan and representative of 7up Nauman Hasan at a simple but impressive ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, PHF official said the name of the famous beverage brand would appear on the left sleeve of the shirts of players of the team which has the logo of their main sponsors, National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) in the front of the shirt.
"We are delighted that we have been joined by 7up which would be associated with the game for one year under the contract and their contribution will go a long way to promote hockey," he said.
Musarrat refused to reveal the amount and other financial aspects of the deal and said they are sacred affairs and can not be made public.
