UAE to extend cooperation for social sector uplift

NWFP Minister for Social Welfare, Zakat and Ushr Hafiz Hashmat Khan held a meeting with Ali Mohammad Shams, Ambassador of United Arab Emirate in the latter's office at Islamabad and discussed various matters relating to social welfare activities in the province. During meeting with the minister, the Ambassador of UAE agreed to extend cooperation for establishment of social welfare institutions in various sectors in the Frontier Province.
He also assured the minister for establishment of various centers for refugees residing in the province so as enable them to earn their livelihood and live with honour.
The minister thanked the Ambassador for extending cooperation to the province in social sector particularly for the Afghan Refugees and hoped that mutual cooperation between UAE and Pakistan will further grow in the times to come.
The minister also met with Gul Bahadar, Director General Dev: Telephone Department, Islamabad in the latter's office in Islamabad and discussed with him the problems faced by the people in PF-7 in connection with telephone facilities.
The D G Development assured the minister of all out cooperation adding that all problems faced by the people of the constituency would be solved on priority basis.
