The NWFP Senior Minister and Provincial Amir of Jamaat-i-Islami Sirajul Haq has said that Malakand was the soil of Islam loving people and in the ensuing by-elections they would give a decisive blow to the culture of vulgarity and obscenity in the country by voting candidate of MMA. He was addressing various public gatherings at villages of Barh, Dherai, Kot and Totai in Tehsil Batkhela on Friday. Elites of the area were addressed by Muzaffar Said MPA.
Sirajul Haq said that MMA was endeavouring for enforcement of Shariah and Islamic welfare society, free from all evils in the country that was led by Ulema who had pledged to rid the people of the slavery of other nations and give them a transparent system based on social justice.
He said that MMA government in NWFP has taken revolutionary steps for reformation of society and speedy development of the province in a short span of time. He said that MMA cabinet members were serving the masses devotedly as well as following Shariah obligations for the first time in the history of the province after Mufti Mehmood era.
Sirajul Haq hoped that the people of Malakand would exercise the power of vote for complete enforcement of Shariah in the country by voting in favour of MMA candidate to pave way for a peaceful atmosphere. He said that by-election in Malakand was not only a democratic process but also a war between two ideologies.
ANP local leader Haji Maazullah Khan announced joining Jamaat-i-Islami at public meeting in Dherai village and reposed full confidence in provincial and central leadership of MMA as well as assured all out cooperation. After public address at Totai, Sirajul Haq hoisted flag of JI at the residences of political workers who had recently joined the party.
Meanwhile, the senior minister while delivering Jumma Khutba at Jamia Mosque of Totai, asked the people to be equipped with the weapon of unity to combat the challenges faced by the Muslim Ummah.
