Test version of 'Peshawar 1.com' launched

The NWFP government has handed over a chatting software to the Peshawar1.com website, through which people from around the world would not only raise their problems before the high-ups of the province, but would also have a chance to talk to the officials directly for solution of their problems. The 'Peshawar1.com' has launched the test version of the chatting software successfully on Saturday (December 04), which is the first phase for launching online radio, with collaboration of NWFP government.
It is pertinent to mention here that the NWFP government and Peshawar1.com had decided to launch an Internet radio and the provision of this chatting software by the government is the first phase of Internet radio. Those, interested to use this chatting software could enter through Peshawar1.com.
People from around the world would have a chance to chat with NWFP governor, chief minister, all provincial ministers, district Nazim Peshawar and police high ups for seeking solutions to their problems online through this chatting software. Furthermore, through this chatting software, people from around the world belonging to this province would have a chance to know their culture and societies.
Through this chatting software, the youngsters would also have a chance to make new friends throughout the world and aware themselves of the development in those countries.
It is worth-mentioning here that Peshawar1.com is the first website of the region, which was inaugurated by the Governor Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah, three years back.
The web site includes more than 5,000 pages and local news of the Peshawar city. Articles by the renowned journalists and writers are also having a place in the web site. The daily visitors of the web site are more than 200,000 around the globe.
American visitors of the web site are about 27 percent, European 15 percent and visitors from the Gulf are almost 18 percent.
Another striking fact is that the web site is visited and watched by the visitors of such areas of the world, where none of the country's newspapers reach, for instance Colombia, Israel and Ukraine etc.
