Millions of devotees raised their hands towards Makkah on Sunday seeking blessings and Muslim prosperity as a huge three-day Islamic gathering ended near the Bangladeshi capital. "We should follow the path shown to us by the Quran and bring unity to the Muslim world," a cleric said during the mass "Akheri Munajat" or "Last Prayers" marking the end of the meeting in Tongi, an industrial town close to Dhaka. The three-day gathering, considered the largest annual Islamic event after the Haj pilgrimage to Makkah, began Friday.
