Musharraf begins France visit today

President Pervez Musharraf, who is in the United Kingdom at present, will pay a two-day official visit to France from Tuesday to discuss bilateral and international issues with President Chirac, a spokesman of the Foreign Office disclosed here on Monday.
He told his regular weekly briefing that Foreign Minister Khurshid Kasuri, Commerce Minister Humayun Akhtar and Information and Broadcasting Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed will accompany the president.
The issues to be discussed between the two leaders will include the status of Pakistan-India composite dialogue, reconstruction in Afghanistan and Iraq, campaign against terrorism and the UN reforms. President Musharraf will also meet leaders of public opinion and the representatives of the "think tanks."
The visit, the spokesman said will help Re-activate relations between the two countries that span several fields, especially in the field of economics and commerce.
