Pakistan will send a delegation of businessmen and economic experts to Eritrea to explore and identify areas of co-operation between the two countries. The decision to this effect came here on Wednesday at a meeting of Eritrean delegation with Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz in the Prime Minister House.
Prime Minister told the delegation, led by Alamin Mohammad Saeed, Secretary General Peoples Front for Democracy and Justice, that Pakistan has strong ties with African states and there was a need for strengthening the Muslim Ummah. He said the Muslim states should work together to reflect true image of Islam as a religion of peace and amity.
Pakistan, he said believes that people to people contacts and strong business and economic linkages with Africa would strengthen the bilateral relations.
Prime Minister Aziz said Pakistan would help Eritrea in improving its economy, banking systems and business. He said exchange of parliamentary delegations will also help a great deal in bringing the peoples of two countries closer.
