Punjab University vice-chancellor Arshad Mahmood has said that the university has been fully utilising Higher Education Commission (HEC) funds following the university policy approved by the syndicate. He was speaking at the foundation stone laying ceremony of the new building of Department of Mycology and Plant Pathology here at Quaid-e-Azam campus on Wednesday.
He said the HEC has provided Rs 525 million to the university for the infrastructure and academic developments during the recent years, Rs 788 million have been approved for various projects and the university has proposed development projects worth Rs 726 million to HEC.
