On the special instructions of the President General Pervez Musharraf the federal government has released funds amounting to Rs 10 million to the provincial government of NWFP for the up-gradation of government hospital at Dargai. This was stated by the PML leader and candidate for NA-35 by-election Salim Saifullah Khan while talking to a delegation of Dargai Timber Association at Dargai, Malakand on Wednesday.

The public representatives from this area during the last 30 years or so did nothing for the welfare of the people whereas he has been approaching all the government agencies with missionary zeal to get their attention diverted to this backward and neglected area, he added and said that he would continue to do the same even after the election.
