TCP procures 1.785 million cotton bales

The Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) has so far contracted for more than 1.785 million cotton bales from ginneries in Sindh and Punjab. According to TCP here on Thursday that about 1.26 million cotton bales had been procured by the corporation from Punjab and 515,600 bales from Sindh, while 8,000 bales from Balochistan. On Wednesday, the TCP procured 69,000 bales.
These bales were procured from Nawabshah, Sukkur, Rahim Yar Khan, Multan, Bahawalpur, Haroonabad, DG Khan Sahiwal, Vehari and Dera Allahyar Khan.
