PPP asks government to provide security to Asif Ali Zardari

Secretary General Pakistan Peoples Party, Jahangir Badr has asked police authorities in Islamabad and Punjab to provide security to PPP leader Asif Ali Zardari. Jahangir Badr in a letter addressed to Inspector General Police, Islamabad and Inspector General Police, Rawalpindi requested to issue necessary instructions to all concerned to provide security for Asif Ali Zardari on his arrival and stay in Islamabad and other cities of Punjab province, said in press statement.
The copies of the letter have also been sent to the Secretary Interior Ministry and the Chief Secretary, government of Punjab.
