Three officers of Muslim Commercial Bank Faisalabad arrested

Under the directions of Additional Director Anti-Corruption Establishment, Faisalabad Region, Chaudhry Kabeer Ahmad Khan, Deputy Director (Prosecution) Aslam Khan Niazi has arrested three officers of Muslim Commercial Bank, Faisalabad namely Asad Ullah Khan, Ghulam Yasin Kamoka and Khalid Mehmood Khan on the charge of passing cheques bearing bogus signatures in connivance with the officials of defunct DC office and causing a loss of about Rs 1.5 million to the government.
According to details a report was submitted by Assistant Director (Complaints) Anti Corruption, Kanwar Khalid Mehmood (now SOD), that officers Grade I, Asad Ullah Khan and Khalid Mahmood Khan and officer Grade-2, Ghulam Yasin Kamoka of Muslim Commercial Bank were allegedly involved in passing the cheques bearing bogus signatures with the connivance of defunct DC office.
During the investigation, allegations were established and action was taken to arrest the accused. Raids are being conducted for the arrest of co-accused, Khalid and Liaqat Ali, officials of defunct DC office.
