ISE brokers, investors assured protection

Islamabad police can provide the quality service to the residents of federal capital provided the facilities of the motorway police are also being extended to them. This was stated by SSP Islamabad, Dr Sultan Azam Temuri while briefing the brokers and investors at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Monday.
He visited the exchange as part of ongoing efforts of the police department for the safety and security of brokers and investors.
Addressing the members of the exchange, Dr Temuri said if the facilities of the motorway police are also provided to local police, their quality of service would improve considerably.
He outlined the important measures, which their department was undertaking for strengthening the police force. In this regard he said that 2,000 new recruits would be inducted in the local police and three buses has also been acquired to enhance the mobility of the police.
He also spoke about the necessity of close co-operation between the police and public to combat the crimes. He also unveiled that an advisory committee comprising civilians was being formed to advise the police department on different issues relating to the safety and security of the persons and the property. Chairman ISE Abdul Waheed Jan presented the guest the shield of the ISE and Dr Temuri reciprocally also presented shield of his department to the ISE chairman.
