PPPP to participate in ARD rally

Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian (PPPP), Punjab, has said that some quarters having vested interests are spreading rumours that Asif Ali Zardari will not return back to the country. This was stated by President PPPP Punjab, Qasim Zia while talking to newsmen after executive committee meeting of the party here on Monday. The meeting decided that PPPP Punjab would participate in ARD rally to be held at Sargodha on January 14.
The meeting, while taking notice of some objectionable statements issued by a party representative Munir Ahmad Khan, decided to prepare recommendations for taking action against him. The meeting also demanded of the government to immediately release Javaid Hashmi and Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani.
The meeting decided that decision regarding unanimous candidate for NA-127 Lahore will be taken in a meeting of ARD to be held at Lahore on January 12. The meeting also constituted a three-member committee comprising Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Badar-ud-din Chaudhry and Qamar uz Zaman Kaira to probe into the recent incident at Bilawal House Lahore. This committee will submit its report to Jahangir Badr.
