Bangladeshi taka ends weaker versus dollar on import needs

The Bangladeshi taka ended slightly weaker on Tuesday due to robust demand for the US currency for import related payments, dealers said. The taka was quoted at 59.95/62.90 per dollar, against 59.95/62.60 on Monday. Call rates ranged between 6.5 percent and 10.50 percent against 6.0-8.25 percent on Monday.
