US Treasury Secretary John Snow said on Wednesday the Bush administration believes in a strong dollar policy. "It's always the same policy, our policy is the strong dollar. And there has been no change in that since the day I, two years ago, came into office," he said on Bloomberg TV. He urged the Group of Seven (G7) major industrialised countries to dismantle barriers to economic growth.
"We need to get more growth in the global economy, and as our trading partners grow faster, that'll be good for our exports," he said.
