German logistics giant Deutsche Post is interested in buying the Japanese state post business Yubin which the government wants to sell in 2007, a German magazine reported. Focus magazine said in a preview of its Monday report that Deutsche Post chief Klaus Zumwinkel was set to travel to Tokyo to meet premier Junichiro Koizumi and that he would use the trip to start discussions about a buy.
