Five of a family slaughtered

Five persons of a family including a woman, two girls and two boys were murdered here in a house of Sarfraz Colony early Sunday morning. According to the police, Nasim Begum (35), her two daughters Rukhsana (10), Asia (6), sons, Ali (8) and Guddu (5) were found murdered in a house of Sarfraz Colony. Deceased Nasim Begum was the wife of police constable Din Mohammad alias Saindad, the police said. Her two other daughters were found missing from the house.
The bodies were found first by the neighbours, who later informed Madadgar "15."
According to initial investigation, all persons were killed with a knife in the early hours of Sunday. No sign of resistance was found by the police, causing doubts that all deceased persons were killed in unconscious condition, it said.
The area police rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to the mortuary of Liaquat University Medical Hospital for autopsy.
Investigation into this tragic incident has been initiated, police said.
