Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman Yasin Malik has accused Mufti Mohammad Sayeed government of converting the Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir into a police state and stopping people from expressing their ideas. He said Mufti claims that everybody has right to express his ideas, and added despite his claims people were being stopped from boycott campaign of local bodies election, occupied Kashmir daily "Greater Kashmir" reported.
Municipal election boycott will continue despite government using force against people of Indian occupied Kashmir, he added.
Describing the Mufti government as "puppet regime," Malik said "I want to convey (to) Mufti if he believes in democracy and says everybody has right to express his ideas then why are we being arrested during boycott campaign.
"We don't stop anybody forcibly to vote, but they force people to vote."
"I was kidnapped by the government and detained in police station Pampore for five days during the by-election for Pahalgam and Batamaloo constituencies in October," the JKLF chairman said.
