Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry, senior most judge of the Supreme Court, on Monday took oath as acting chief justice of Pakistan. The oath was administered by Justice Rana Baghwandas. The ceremony was held in the Supreme Court building. Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry will act as the Chief Justice of Pakistan in the absence of Justice Nazim Hussain Siddiqui, who is abroad these days.
