The President of Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA), Sialkot, Atiq-Ur-Rehman was injured seriously when unidentified gunmen attacked him here on Tuesday morning, relatives of the leader said. Atiq, also local chief of Jamaat-i-Islami, was going to the mosque to offer morning prayers when the miscreants sprayed volley of bullet on him and escaped.
The MMA's wounded leader was admitted to the local hospital. However, doctors avoided telling how many shots of bullets he received and if he was out of danger or not.
