Acting City Nazim Tariq Hassan has instructed officials concerned to complete the work of the Business Recorder Road before its schedule. While inspecting the carpeting of the road, here on Tuesday, he expressed his satisfaction over the work pace, and asked the officials to complete the work before the scheduled time so that the area citizens could be facilitated.
On the occasion, Tariq Hassan was told that the road from Nazimabad Chowrangi to Rizvia Society would be completed soon and opened for the traffic before Eid and the remaining road would be completed by February 17.
He was also told that the project, initiated on December 23 last, was to be completed on March 15. To ensure the better flow of vehicular traffic, the road is being widened on both sides, he was further told.
Tariq Hassan, on the occasion, met with area people and sought their suggestions regarding the uplift work.
He also directed the officials concerned to ensure the laying of a sewerage line be included in the project and uplift work to be continued even during the Eid holidays.
