The World of English Language institute for TEFL/ESL held a symposium for the purpose to discuss TEFL/ESL. David Cristan, a professor of linguistics, from the United States of America has delivered a lecture on the modern trends in TEFL/ESL. The participants like NUML, SPELT, Beacon House School, Roots, Fatima Jinnah College, Quaid-e-Azam University, Humza Academy and Bright Academy presented keynote lectures on the subject.
David Cristan, a specialist in the field of applied linguistics expressed his enormous pleasure at the growing awareness of the modern teaching techniques and principles among the language teachers in Pakistan.
He appreciated the English language learning in Pakistan, for they are highly positive and motivated towards the English language learning. He hoped that with the application of modern-most methodology in ELT by the teachers, and the interest among the students, English would soon cease to be a problem in Pakistan.-PR
