ISE: bulls return to driving seat

Equities witnessed broad-based recovery at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bulls returned in the front seat amid increase in index. ISE network index showed an improvement of 103.87 points as the price-based indictor moved from 13,467.48 to 13,571.35 points. The overall turnover amounted to 52,98,400 shares as compared to previous volume of 2,354,600 shares.
Total 140 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (107) closed in positive territory, 31 showed negative signs while 2 companies remained pegged to their overnight levels.
The volume of PTCL was 22,37,500 shares as compared to previous turnover of 439,000 shares. The turnover of OGDCL was 16,92,200 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,017,000 shares. The volume of Fauji Fertiliser was 698,500 shares.
