The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) -an apex body of traders, has appealed all its affiliated chambers and traders associations to donate generously for President's relief fund for tsunami victims. Interim Chairman of FPCCI Jamil Mahboob Maggon told APP here on Thursday that federation would extend all possible assistance and co-operation in fund raising for the victims.
He said all the Presidents of the affiliated chambers and traders associations had been asked to contribute their share to the rehabilitation of the people of the affected areas.
Former federation Presidents Iftikhar Ali Malik, S M Munir, Riaz Ahmad Tata, former VPs, Chaudhry Muhammad Saeed, Raja Muhammad Jamil and Sheikh Maqbool Elahi have also appealed the entire business community to come forward and join hands with the government by giving donations.
