Pakistan a favourite country for investors, says Sindh governor

Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad has said that significance and reputation of Karachi had grown at international level as foreign and local investors are expressing their practical interest here. He expressed these views while talking to the visiting delegation of German investors led by Dr Hans Josschim at Governor House here on Thursday.
Ibad said that Pakistan was a favourite and conducive country for investors where complete protection is provided to investors.
The members of the delegation also held meeting with the shopkeepers dealing in food items of various markets and showed their interest specially in super market related trade and investment. On the occasion, the governor told the delegation that due to the business friendly policies of the government including 'reforms programme' initiated by the president national economy is on the track to progress.
He said that all the economic indicators are showing progress of national economy and added that all those businessmen who were thinking to move their businesses to other parts of the country in the past had dropped their ideas as now they are operating their trade without fear due to the fact that law and order situation has improved in the city.
