89 prisoners released from Adiala Jail

The Adiala Central Jail administration has released 89 prisoners involved in small crimes and offences under the directives of the District and Sessions Judges Rawalpindi and Islamabad. According to details, the District and Sessions Judge Rawalpindi Chaudhary Asad Raza visited the Adiala Jail and ordered release of 70 prisoners involved in small crimes and offences. These prisoners were released. The District and Sessions Judge Islamabad has also visited the jail and ordered release of 19 prisoners. The jail administration has released all 89 prisoners.
Meanwhile, President Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, Senior Vice Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, 36 persons involved in various cases of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and 82 persons shifted from Guantanamo Bae and thousands other prisoners would celebrate their Eid ul Azha in Adiala Jail on Friday. At present, there are more than 4,909 prisoners and under-trial prisoners lodged in Adiala Jail.
It is second Eid ul Azha of Makhdoom Javed Hashmi after he was detained by the government in a treason case of defaming Pakistan Army. Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani is behind bars in misuse of power reference filed by the NAB.
