21 Jan, 2005

Sindh National Front (SNF) Chairman Mumtaz Bhutto on Thursday invited Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to support strike call given by Sindh's nationalist parties for January 24 in protest against military operation in Balochistan and rape of a lady doctor in Sui. He said nationalist parties strike in Sindh was "politically motivated" as it would be peaceful and no such step would be taken to put lives and properties of people in danger.
Mumtaz Bhutto also directed the party office-bearers and workers to utilise all their capabilities to make the strike a success, ensuring that peace and law and order is not violated in the province.
