Malawi's top judges on strike for luxury cars

Judges in impoverished Malawi went on strike to demand the government buy them new luxury four wheel drive vehicles to replace the existing fleet of cars. High Court registrar Sylvester Kalembera told Reuters on Thursday that judges at the High Court and the Supreme Court of Appeal had stopped handling cases until the government replaced more than two dozen ageing cars.
