Israeli scientists have developed a microwave weapon capable of taking out enemy combatants without causing them serious injury, the Hebrew daily Maariv reported Sunday. The new weapon was developed in a laboratory in the West Bank Jewish settlement of Ariel, the paper said. Its inventors boast that the weapon can incapacitate an enemy while causing nothing more than serious than a short-term burning sensation.
