Interior Minister, Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao will perform the groundbreaking ceremony of McDonald restaurant being built in F-9 Park here on Thursday.Capital Development Authority and SIZA Food signed an agreement few days' back to construct a McDonald outlet at the Fatima Jinnah Park. Under the agreement, CDA will provide nearly 10 kanals of land (approximately 6000 yards) for the restaurant purely on lease basis for a period of 33 years.
Meanwhile, CDA Board meeting was held here with Chairman Kamran Lashari in the chair in which it was decided to defer development of mini golf club at F-7/1 due to technical problems.
The chairman has directed the concerned directorate to remove technical faults and submit the plan in the next board meeting for approval. Board has also decided to stop revision of toll taxes at the CDA plazas till further orders. The CDA had earlier planned to enhance the toll taxes. The decision to this effect would be implemented on new contracts.
