NAB arrests former KWSB deputy managing director

National Accountability Bureau, Sindh, has arrested Aftab Ahmed, ex-deputy managing director of the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board on charges of living beyond means and accumulating assets beyond known/fair sources of income, a press release of the NAB said on Wednesday. As per details available the accused that has been project in-charge of the KWSB major projects in the recent past, accumulated assets in million of rupees in his own name and in the names of his family members through corrupt practices.
After his arrest he was produced before the accountability court Karachi and has been remanded to NAB custody till February 9, 2005 for further investigation.-PR
