Lahore Businessman Association for Disabled (Labard) has hailed the decision of the Federal Cabinet directing Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) to allow all special and disabled people to appear in CSS examination from the year 2005. Bushra Aitzaz Ahsan, Convenor of Labard's standing committee on advocacy, expressed these views here on Wednesday.
She said that special people had no quota in any of the government service, as there was no provision in the Federal Services Ordinance. She further said that now when the proposals were in the final stage, criterion and procedures to take the federal examinations should be finalised as soon as possible. The Ministry of Special Education should extend every possible support to the Commission to resolve the issue, she added.
Bushra said that the Ministry of Special Education should also include blind people in the policy, so that they should also get benefit of the decision.
