Jawed Mansha, a senior fellow of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP), has been elected as the chairman of its Karachi Branch Council for the year 2005. An announcement to this effect was made by the spokesperson of the ICMAP on Monday. Muhammad Shafi Zakaria Shafi Zakaria has been elected as the Vice Chairman and Shahid Hussain as Secretary of Karachi Branch Council (KBC) of the ICMAP.
The other elected and nominated members of KBC are: Ata Ullah, Muhammad Saleem, Nasreen Naz, M. Talib Ali and Ahsan Elahi Vohra, it was further announced.
