The Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) would form human chain to express solidarity with Kashmiris and holding a public meeting at Chowk Ghantha Ghar at the end of rally on Kashmir day on Saturday. MMA district president Mufti Hidayatullah Passrorvi stated this in a joint press conference here, adding people of Multan would express their strong hater against atrocities of Indian army and crushing freedom movement of Kashmiris.
Mufti declared hands chain from Hussain Agahi to Chowk Daulat gate would be made at 9 am on Saturday besides holding a public meeting at Chowk Ghantha Ghar at the end of hands chain and rally.
The MMA office bearers Rao Zafar Iqbal, Dr Ashraf Ali Atiq, Khawaja Saifur Rehman, Dr Muhammad Arif, Fidda Hussein Ghalvi, Intizar Qureshi and Allama Inayatullah Rehmani in the press conference also condemned Indian atrocities on innocent Kashmiris.
They demanded for solution of Kashmir issue according to UN resolutions and they widely criticised present ruling elite for adopting different options on Kashmir issue instead of demanding for referendum.
They condemned observance on Basant on the eve of Kashmir day by the government and demanded immediate ban on Basant besides cancelling Basant train from Karachi to Lahore.
