World Bank keen to explore marble resources

The World Bank (WB) has expressed its keen interest in exploration of Pakistan's high quality marble resources and its processing on modern lines. This was disclosed by All Pakistan Marble Association (APMA) Chairman Sanaullah Khan while talking to newsmen at Expo Centre here on Friday.
He said that a delegation of the association, led by him, had a meeting with a delegation of WB Finance and Private sector for South Asian region, during which the matter came under discussion.
The APMA chief said senior representative of bank Eric. D Manes told newsmen that the WB team was compiling a comprehensive report about Pakistani marble industry and other natural resources.
