Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC) will make arrangements for uninterrupted power supply to consumers during first 10 days of Muharram and no power shutdown would be made during these days.
This was decided in a meeting of KESC, presided over by in charge Power Distribution KESC Shabbir Solangi and was attended by other officials here on Friday.
The meeting wad told that priority has been given to sub-stations, PMTs, feeders where main imambargahs and mosques are situated. Standby generators have also been arranged, while standby vehicles will remain with the main procession from 8th to 10th Muharram.
