Interior Minister, Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao has said that army would not be called back from Wana till complete ouster of foreign terrorists. In a message received here on Saturday from Haripur, he expressed these views while talking to media men at a luncheon hosted by Central leader of Pakistan People's Party, Ejaz Khan. State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Aneesa Zeb Tahirkheli, office bearers of the party and several other social figures were also present on the occasion.
The interior minister said that dialogue in Wana was heading in right direction and army would definitely stay there till complete ouster of foreign terrorists.
We had reached an agreement through a positive dialogue with the Baitullah Masood," he said.
Sherpao said the government wanted progress and prosperity in Balochistan but some elements are propagating their vested interests. Parliamentary Committee on Balochistan was working to sort the issue amicably and would soon submit the report, he added.
To a question, the interior minister said we respect MMA's mandate in the province and did not make any effort to dissolve the government. "The dialogue was in progress with all political parties as it is an integral part of the democratic process," Sherpao added.
