'Expos to help boost exports'

A large number of foreign visitors have visited the stall of Metro Motorcycle at Expo-2005 and appreciated the quality of the products of the company. "This was the only motorcycle stall at the Expo-2005 in Karachi and visitors from the 70 countries took keen interest in our products," said Mirza Umair Ahmad, director of the company, here. "Such exhibitions will go a long way in boosting the exports of the country," he added.
He also congratulated President General Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz for holding such a good exhibition. He also lauded the role of Export Promotion Bureau in making such remarkable arrangements and enhancing participation of the visitors up to 70 countries in the Expo-2005. He said that his company had received a good number of export orders of Metro motorcycles and Metro fans from different countries, including Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iraq, Jordan and many African countries. In this way, he pointed out, Metro would be the first motorbike of the country that will be exported from Pakistan.
