31 killed as bus falls into ravine in IoK

Thirty-one people were killed and 27 injured, 14 of them seriously, when a passenger bus they were travelling in rolled down into a gorge on Sunday in Udhampur district of occupied Kashmir. The bus was on its way to Udhampur town from Ramnagar when it skidded off the road and fell into the 300ft gorge at Barman, official sources were quoted as saying according to a news report received here.
Twenty-seven people were killed on the spot while three died on way to hospital and one in the hospital, sources said.
The injured were admitted to Udhampur district hospital while four seriously injured were shifted to Government Medical College Hospital in occupied Jammu, sources added.
