Former Punjab governor Malik Ghulam Mustafa Khar said that all demands of Baloch regarding provincial autonomy, royalty are just, and these must be accepted without any further delay, adding it is need of the country's integrity and security that purposeful dialogue be held forthwith. Talking to newsmen in a marriage ceremony, Malik Ghulam Mustafa Khar said that Balochistan is an active volcano which can be burst anytime, therefore, the rulers should resolve Balochistan problem through dialogue.
He said he met with Nawab Akbar Bugti and exchanged views with him on current situation, adding": "I think his demands regarding provincial autonomy, rights of Baloch, withdrawal of plan of construction of cantonments, fair royalty of gas and oil, provision of jobs to unemployed people of Balochistan must be accepted."
Khar said there would been no unrest had the culprits involved in Dr Shazia been punished.
Khar said that a group in PPPP is highly terrified and afraid of him, whenever Benazir Bhutto calls him to bestow some responsibilities, it becomes active and launches a drive of character assassination. He said that he would play an important role in country's politics in forthcoming elections.
