Senate Chairman Muhammadmian Soomro on Monday hinted that a "meaningful decision" was in the offing to resolve the Balochistan issue. "Parliamentary Committee on Balochistan headed by Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain is already working on it actively and preparing recommendations which are in final stage," Soomro said this while talking to media men after inaugurating a three-day first-ever International Urological moot here on Monday. He said the government was keen to sort out issues through dialogue and added Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain was in contact with political personalities of Balochistan in that regard.
Soomro said some Baloch Sardars had forwarded written suggestions to the government to overcome the problem there and added the government would examine the same.
Senate Chairman further said an exhaustive debate was conducted on the floor of the House on Balochistan issue and said they were ready to give more time for discussing the issue, he added.
To another question, the Senate Chairman said the present parliament would complete its tenure for four-years.
