The FPCCI Vice President, Akber Abdullah said that the federation is in the process of finalising a strategic operating plan in consultation with its member bodies. Talking to Maher Alavi, former president of the FPCCI here on Monday, Abdullah said, the FPCCI is also finalising the programme of trade delegations to be sent abroad to explore new markets for Pakistani products. He said the FPCCI would prepare strategy for the exploration of non-traditional markets to enhance the Pakistani exports.
The FPCCI would organise seminars, workshops and conferences on various subjects, particularly on foreign investment, exhibitions, E- commerce etc, with the help of the respective standing committees of the FPCCI, he informed.
Akber Abdullah informed that the office-bearers of the FPCCI were optimistic that the FPCCI would play its due role in the promotion of trade and economic activities on national and international level.
In this connection the FPCCI would intensify interaction with its foreign counterparts, he concluded.
