Bangladeshi taka weaker on dollar import demand

The Bangladeshi taka ended weaker on Tuesday on US dollar demand for the payment of imports of machinery and industrial raw materials, dealers said. The taka was quoted at 63.15/63.40 per dollar, from 63.10/63.28 on Monday. Call rates traded between 6.0 percent and 11.0 percent against 5.75 percent and 14.0 percent on Monday.
