Rs 150 million released for various projects

Punjab government has released Rs 150 million for the construction of Girls Degree College in Chak Beli Khan, Rawalpindi besides various water supply and gas projects in the area. Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Ellahi during his visit to Rawalpindi had announced Rs 1 billion development package for Rawalpindi, which would surely change the scenario of this historical city, said Raja Nasir, District President of Pakistan Muslim league here on Friday.
Talking to reporters he said that this city was deprived from development during past 50 years and now present government has decided to address all grievances of the people. "During past two years our government has hold record development work and surely the pace would continue", he added.
He said that funds are in pipeline for the gas and water supply projects in different projects in the Rawalpindi city.
"We are committed to serve masses and resolve all their problems at their doorsteps", he added.
