Turkish Army Chief visits Lahore

General Hiimi Ozkok, Chief of General Staff, Turkish Ahmed Forces, along with a 5-member delegation arrived at the provincial metropolis on the second leg of his official visit to Pakistan. He visited the Corps Headquarters where he met Corps Commander Lieutenant General Shahid Aziz and exchanged views on matters of professional interest, said an ISPR release issued here Tuesday.
The dignitary from the brotherly Islamic country also visited the mausoleum of Dr Allama Mohammad Iqbal, offered Fateha and laid a floral wreath to pay homage to the great poet-philosopher of the East.
Earlier, on arrival at the Allama Iqbal International airport, the distinguished guest and members of his entourage were warmly received by Garrison Commander Major General Bilal Omar Khan.
