09 Mar, 2005

Cathay Pacific has announced introduction of a special prize scheme for passengers, travelling from Pakistan to Hong Kong and China. "Fly Cathay Pacific Airways and win a car" offers a grand prize of the new Honda City to one lucky winner out of all passengers travelling from Pakistan to Hong Kong or China.
Cathay Pacific's Regional Manager for Pakistan, Afghanistan and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Happy Minwalla said: " with this activity, we aim to express our commitment towards Pakistan and its people and to encourage more people to travel in Asia, especially Hong Kong and now China."
He said the offer would be valid on all Karachi-Hong Kong and Karachi-China Cathay Pacific flights between February 15 and April 15. The ticket must be issued from Cathay Pacific, Pakistan, while reverse ticketing cases from Hong Kong or China will not be eligible to participate in the competition; infants will not be considered eligible for the competition.
Cathay Pacific Airways recently announced that its Unicef "change for good" in-flight collections saw nearly a four fold increase in January, as the passengers gave generously to help survivors of the Indian Ocean tsunami.
